Linux help. Ubuntu or Fedora?

I am currently running Fedora 7 (latest kernel) and i like it but i have been hearing that the gaming on the Ubuntu distributions is better. Is this true? I wanna be able to play some FPS and MMORPG. ( I am currently settling for Frozen Bubble, fun, but there is not many people who wanna play online)
