IS THIS GUY MESSIN WITH ME?

Last year my boyfriends friend gave me a back mage ( I know, skip the moral speech) and i kinda fell for him... but I told my boyfriend and he didnt want to be friends with this guy anymore. Throughout this time this guy has been sending me messages through song lyrics suggesting he likes me as well as inspirational quotes.. he's definitely keeping an eye on me. It has been a year. I am so falling for this guy... but recently ive broken up with my boyfriend.. and my boyfriend called this guy to hangout.. and now they are making plans to hang out again. Was he just doing all these things to get his friend back?
