Aquarian Male Stung by Scorpio Woman?

Myself an Aquarian male, have been able to handle most relationships, but this one. The Scorpio had me circling her for an age, which I went along with, as I had a deep interest in her; intellectually stimulating, pionate about her life and interests, independente on all fronts, elegant, youthful, not weighed down by cultural baggage (she was Korean). I fell in love. A once in several years occurence. The love was cut short due to her travel, and so shortlived. And strangely, more intellectual than physical. My Aquarian physical pions wanted to be imaginative. But her Scorpion physical pions were by her own admission "conventional". I was deeply, deeply disappointed. Could anyone comment on the physical compatability of these two signs? Loving the woman pionately for her mind and not being able to.express that physically has left much confusion.
