My Flowerhorn Laid Eggs?

This is the 3rd time my female laid eggs the 2 batch of eggs she laid before were infertile, the 1st time when the female laid eggs i had no male in the tank the eggs were infertile and she ate the eggs. 2nd time when she laid eggs the male was there in the tank separated with a gl divider i removed the gl several times for the male and and the female to get along but they kept on fighting ,on the day the female started laying eggs i removed the gl divider but the female didn't allow the male to fertilize the eggs..the eggs were infertile and she ate them , the 3rd time ...today the female started laying eggs when i removed the gl divider she started chasing the male away from the eggs so i put the divider back and separated them ,after the female had finished laying eggs i removed her and put the male to fertilize the eggs .....now are the eggs fertilized or the male has to immediately fertilize the eggs when they are being laid by the female ?and also the eggs are red in color where as i have heard the eggs have to be clear or transparent, is it because i feed her high red ?
