My stepson called me a n***er (racial slur) and my husband refused to do anything about it?

Except to tell me that I overreacted. Damn I hate it when he takes his son's side without even hearing what I have to say! I hadn't even said anything to my stepson and he said, "Hey, n***er- have you washed my clothes yet?" I was speechless.
