I have a tens unit for my back and have TMJ. Does anyone know where to place the sensors to treat tmj?

I have TMJ and to ease the pain I put a hot wet flannel over the affected area, so maybe the sensors should be placed over th eeffected area...I think that I might just try the tens unit for my TMJ..thx
