Help with Smash Bros and Action Replay?

Does anybody know a way to get to debug mode on Super Smash Bros. Melee without an action replay, or a place to find an action replay for really cheap($10-20 incl shipping) because im REALLY short on cash right now and i would like to be able to use debug soon.
