Do you think Jessica Shafer from the GabeandJess blog will be a good mother?

Jessica Shafer of Modesto, CA was introduced to the public on May 15. She got pregnant by her boyfriend Gabe Esquilin in the fall. She created the GabeandJess blog where she monitored her pregnancy weekly. Daughter Lilia Jean Esquilin was born on June 18, weighing 7 lbs 6 oz. Although her daughter was unplanned, Jessica believes she can do the difficult job of parenting. Things are going well so far, as Lilia is provided with a crib, clothes, shelter, and appropriate food and support. However, statistics show that teen mothers have a very hard time raising their children, including a hard time finishing high school. Fortunately, Jessica was lucky enough to finish high school. Although Lilia is healthy, statistics also show that babies born to teen mothers can have a variety of health problems. It is unknown if Jessica is aware of the risks and it is unknown if her actions will speak louder than her words.
